Attorney – Commercial Litigation (54182) Austin, TX

Our client, a full service Austin law firm, seeks a mid-level attorney with commercial and/or construction related litigation experience to join their team.  The Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload, with a particular focus on commercial and construction-related disputes. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our firm’s growth and client development efforts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient progress.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base and build lasting professional relationships.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or construction litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, case law, and statutory requirements related to commercial and construction disputes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
